GIFT AID |
I am pleased to inform you that the parish has received £7,744 – 25p from the tax authorities, this being our Gift Aid refund for the year to April 2008. May I express my appreciation to all parishioners who “gift aid” their donations to Holy Family?
Generally, about 50% of donations received are “gift-aided”; obviously this means that 50% are not.
Anyone who regularly goes to our church and who pays income tax should consider making a Gift Aid Declaration. It is a simple one-off process, which costs nothing to the individual and is fully supported by the government.
Forms can be obtained through Gordon Whiteside (533820); Gareth Davies (543113) or the presbytery (532613).
